
vivo earlier unveiled two new smartphones under the S15 series in China, the vivo S15 and the vivo S15 Pro. Both devices flaunt high refresh rates, and boot OriginOS Ocean with Android 12 on top.
The vanilla vivo S15 sports a 6.62-inch FHD+ E4 AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate, 300Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1300 nits brightness, and HDR10+ support.
Inside, it packs a 7nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 octa-core processor, up to 12GB LPDDR4X RAM, 128GB/256GB UFS 3.1 internal storage, and a 4,500mAh battery with 66W fast charging.
For photography, it uses a 64MP main sensor with OIS, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP macro lens, while a 32MP sensor is at the front.
The vivo S15 Pro, on the other hand, boasts a 6.56-inch FHD+ E5 AMOLED screen with a 120Hz refresh, 300Hz touch sampling rate, up to 1500 nits brightness, and HDR10+ support.
Under the hood, it comes with the 5nm MediaTek Dimensity 8100 octa-core processor, up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM, 256GB internal storage, and a 4,500mAh battery capacity with 80W fast charging support. It also has X-axis linear motor for an immersive experience.
In terms of the camera, it also features a triple rear camera configuration consisting of a 50MP Sony IMX766V primary sensor with OIS, a 12MP 119° ultra-wide shooter, and a 2MP B&W portrait lens. Upfront is a 32MP selfie snapper.
