Rakuten Viber has officially made the Viber Dating feature available in the Philippines.
A few days ago, Viber sent out notifications announcing that the Beta version is now available locally.
Users can now create their profiles using their existing Viber accounts. Just like any other dating app, the app first asks some questions to help users connect better with others.
To set up your profile, users must provide details such as their name, birthday, gender, and the type of person they are interested in. They can also specify the kind of relationship they are looking for—whether it’s friendship, casual fun, a serious relationship, or something else.
Profiles can include photos, a bio, occupation, religion, and education level. Additional details such as parenting preferences, fitness level, living arrangements, and location can also be added to help find better matches.
Unlike traditional dating platforms, itfocuses on verified users for a safer experience. The app even ensures that anyone who tries Viber Dating will have their phone numbers hidden for privacy.
The Philippines is among the first countries to gain full access, with over 100,000 users joining shortly after launch.
