A new Xiaomi phone is apparently trying to follow in the footsteps of the POCO X3 NFC, offering a bang-for-the-buck device. While there’s no official name yet for the upcoming mid-range phone, rumors state that it might be called Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite or part of the Redmi K40 family. As for the specs, it’s very interesting.
Whether it’s called the Mi 11 lite or Redmi K40 Lite, the phone is said to come with an OLED punch-hole screen, 64MP camera with a telephoto lens capable of 5x optical zoom, and Snapdragon SM7350. The latter is basically the Snapdragon 775, the successor of the popular Snapdragon 765G. Interestingly, it surfaced benchmarking 12GB RAM, 256GB UFS 3.1 storage, and 120Hz refresh rate last year. However, rumors are hazy for now as others point out to Samsung’s 6nm EUV instead.
