The next top phone from realme is coming out on August 28 in China. realme GT 5 is likely to have the same 240W extreme charging tech as its predecessor.
On the back of the device, though, it is said to have a brand-new “miracle glass” finish. While we wait for the release, the realme GT 5 has shown up on the Geekbench website. It has a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC inside.
The future realme GT 5 smartphone, which has the model number RMX3820, recently showed up in the Geekbench database, where it revealed some interesting specs. The core of the chip in the device, which runs on the Android 13 operating system, is called “Kalama.”
A 1+4+3 design is used for the chipset. The main core runs at 3.19 GHz, the performance cores run at 2.80 GHz, and the base cores run at 2.02 GHz. Almost certainly, this is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 CPU. It has the Adreno 740 CPU built in, and you can get a version with 16GB of RAM.
As mentioned earlier, the company said that the GT 5 will have a “Miracle Glass” finish. realme has said that the finish is so hard to get right that it drives the providers crazy. We don’t know exactly what this means. There might be something interesting in store for us.
It is said that the realme GT 5 has a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a 1.5K resolution and a 144Hz frame rate. The phone could come with different storage choices, ranging from 128GB all the way up to 1TB. The device could come with either a 4600mAh battery that charges at 240W or a 5200mAh battery that charges at 150W.
