
Samsung is expected to launch its upcoming foldable—the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7—later this year, and leaks have already surafced online revealing notable improvements in its specification.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is rumored to get a major camera upgrade; it will come with a 200MP main sensor similar to the Galaxy S25 Ultra. A significant upgrade compared to the 50MP main camera of its predecessor.
Reports also suggests that the foldable will arrive with an improved under-display camera sensor, although exact specifications are yet to be revealed. To recall, the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 is equipped with a 10MP cover screen camera and a 4MP under-display camera.
Leaked renders of the upcoming foldable have also surfaced online, revealing the same design as its predecessor. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 7 looks quite thin, reportedly measuring 9.5mm thick when folded and 4.5mm thick when unfolded.
It will also feature a less visible display crease and a smoother hinge mechanism.
For specs, it is rumored to sport an 8.2-inch internal display and a 6.5-inch outer panel. It will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor.
Other leaked specs include a large VC cooling system and an updated speakers.
The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 is expected to launch in July this year along with the Galaxy Z Flip 7. Samsung has yet to reveal official information about the device, so stay tuned for more updates.
