Samsung launches a new phone in China called the Galaxy F52 5G. The new member of the Galaxy F Series dons a fast display and a 5G-ready chipset, with a design that comes in white and black colors. Samsung places the Galaxy F52 5G on sale for ¥1999(~₱14,800), while global availability remains to be seen.
The Galaxy F52 5G, as a whole, is a good mid-range phone. It has a huge screen, a huge camera, and a huge battery. However, instead of using LCD or OLED for the screen, Samsung went with its own 6.6″ TFT panel — a supposedly better version of IPS LCD. The company also pairs it with a 120Hz refresh rate for that fast and smooth experience.
Powering the F52 5G is the Snapdragon 750G chipset with 5G capability. It’s marred with 8GB RAM and 128GB expandable storage and relies on a 4500mAh battery with 25W fast charging. At the back of the phone are four cameras — 64MP+8MP+2MP+2MP — while the front uses a 16MP sensor located at the top-right corner.
In the event Samsung releases the Galaxy F52 5G in the Philippines, it’s going to face steep competition from POCO F3 that dons a more powerful chip.
