The popular game platform Roblox will be coming to PlayStation devices next month, the company said.
The company announced at the 2023 Roblox Developers Conference (RDC) that Roblox will be available for both PS4 and PS5 starting in October. Roblox can already be played on Xbox, PC, Mac, iOS, and Android. This month, a Meta Quest version will be made available to more people.
Fans of Roblox can look forward to accessing “the full catalog of Roblox experiences” on the PS4 and PS5. This means that people who are playing Roblox on a different platform can log in to their account and continue where they left off.
So far there aren’t any plans for a Nintendo Switch release yet. However, CEO Davee Baszuki did not completely rule it out. He said during an earnings call last month that a Switch version might come out at some point.
