Great news! The Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) announced on Friday that they’ve already printed and dispatched for delivery over 50 million PhilID cards. These cards are part of the Philippine Identification System (PhilSys), and the PSA is on a mission to get them into the hands of more citizens.
As of December 22, 50,064,756 PhilIDs have been dispatched for delivery, bringing us one step closer to a nation with everyone PhilSys-registered.
National Statistician Dennis Mapa encouraged fellow Filipinos to embrace the PhilID, making it their go-to ID for all transactions.

The PSA is working hard to keep the momentum going. Mapa reassured the public that they’re committed to speeding up the process of printing and delivering PhilIDs. With more than 82 million Filipinos already registered, the PSA is determined to make sure everyone enjoys the convenience of having a valid ID.
