The wait is over as Pokemon Go app is now officially launched and available to download in the Philippines. Official download link to Android Play Store and Apple iPhone/iPad App store below.
For starters, Pokemon Go is an augmented-reality game that uses your GPS, maps, camera, and a few sensors in your phone for a real-life gaming experience. There’s also an option to use a 3D map when tracking a Pokemon.

“Trainers in 15 new countries and regions across Asia and Oceania can now officially download Pokémon GO from the Play Store or App Store. Discover Pokémon in the world around you!
Countries and regions include: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea, Fiji, Solomon Islands, Federated States of Micronesia, and Palau”
Compatibility of Pokemon Go app for Android and iOS
The game is compatible for most phones with Android 4.4.4 KitKat OS and up, iOS 8 for iPhone, and at least 1GB RAM in hardware.
The latest Pokemon Go version is 0.31 with the 3-steps tracking and Pokeball bonus scoring features removed.
