Plans for the POCO F5 series launch have been announced by Xiaomi. The POCO F5 series will consist of the standard POCO F5 and the POCO F5 Pro, as planned. Although the company has not yet provided any information about the POCO F5 Pro, online images of the device in use have already appeared.
The F5 series, which includes the F5 and F5 Pro, will be introduced during an online launch event on May 9th, POCO announced via its official global Twitter account. Live streaming of the event would begin at 20:00 GMT+8. There are no mentioned specs on the announcements but, the Snapdragon India Twitter page did reveal that the vanilla Poco F5 device will feature a Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chipset.
The Snapdragon 7+ Gen 2 chip is said to have 50% overall performance, 13% power efficiency, 2x improved AI performance, a Flagship 4nm TSMC process technology, and WiFi 6 support compared to the previous Snapdragon 7 Gen 1.
As for the other specs, we just have to wait until the May 9th global launch for the full spec sheet of both device. We will update you regarding its full specs, and their prices so make sure to stay tuned.
