
realme has announced that the realme 8 and 8i smartphones will have a PHP 1,000 price drop starting tomorrow, April 1.
Originally priced at PHP 13,990, the realme 8 (8GB + 128GB) will now be priced at PHP 12,990. Meanwhile, the realme 8i (6GB + 128GB) will now be available at PHP 10,990, from the original SRP of PHP 11,990.

To recap, the realme 8i features a 6.6-inch FHD+display with a 120Hz refresh rate, gaming 2.05GHz 12nm MediaTek Helio G96 octa-core processor, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 18W fast charging.
Camera-wise, it comes with a 50MP Samsung JN1 main camera and a pair of 2MP lenses for macro and depth. Upfront is a 16Mp selfie camera.

The realme 8, on the other hand, sports a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED with a standard 60hz refresh rate, a 12nm Mediatek Helio G95 octa-core chipset, and a 5,000mAh battery capacity with USB-C 30W Dart Charge.
For photography, the device uses a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter, and a pair of 2MP modules for macro and depth. The front is being handled by a 16MP Sony IMX471 selfie cam.
