The camera-centric OPPO R9 and R9 Plus are expected to be unveiled sometime next week. With the handsets already TENAA-approved, it seems that the handsets are pretty much ready to go at this point. The said leak pertained the OPPO R9 and R9 Plus’ actual specs, which is actually somewhat the same with the leaked information, with a few differences in memory capacity and the camera department. Nevertheless, the specs for the OPPO R9 include its 5.5-inch FHD display, an octa-core processor, 4GB of RAM and 64GB of ROM. In the camera department, it seems the camera pairings have been mixed up, with the original R9 having a 13MP front camera, instead of the dual 16MP pairing.
That pairing was apparently for the much more premium OPPO R9 Plus, with the latter carrying a 6-inch FHD display, with similar offerings in RAM and ROM and a 16MP rear and front camera. The OPPO R9 packs a 2850mAh battery capacity while the R9 Plus carries a larger 4120mAh battery capacity. Both handsets will also feature a fingerprint scanner and OPPO’s VOOC fast charging feature.
