OPPO has finally launched the most anticipated OPPO Find X in a special event in Paris. It comes with a bezel-less design and a pop-up camera. We decided to compare this to another almost bezel-less smartphone, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S, which was launched last month. Here is the specs comparison between the OPPO Find X and the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S. The OPPO Find X comes with a large 6.42-inch AMOLED display as compared with the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S with a 5.99-inch IPS LCD display. The OPPO Find X has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9 protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. It measures 156.7 x 74.2 x 9.6 mm and weighs 186 grams. Meanwhile, the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S has a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels with an aspect ratio of 18:9 protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 4. It has a dimension of 156.7 x 74.2 x 9.6 mm weighing 186 grams.
Under the hood, the OPPO Find X and Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S have the same chipset and GPU. They are both powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 along with Adreno 630. The OPPO Find X runs on the latest Android 8.1 Oreo while the Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. It also has storage variants of 6GB of RAM + 64GB/128GB internal storage and 8GB of RAM + 256GB internal storage. On the other hand, the OPPO Find X only has 8GB of RAM + 256GB storage.
Going to the camera department, the OPPO Find X has a dual 16-megapixel + 20-megapixel rear camera and a 25-megapixel front-camera that pops out every time the camera app is launched. Meanwhile, Xiaomi Mi MIX 2S is equipped with a dual 12-megapixel + 12-megapixel rear camera and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
In terms of battery size, the OPPO Find X has the larger one with 3730mAh whereas the Mi MIX 2S only has a 3400mAh battery. Although the OPPO Find X wins in battery size, the Mi MIX 2S has an advantage in charging since it supports wireless charging.
Additionally, the Mi MIX 2S has a fingerprint scanner and face unlock feature but the OPPO Find X only includes a face unlock feature with no fingerprint scanner.
