Android Authority has shared the formal statement from OnePlus about the lifetime screen warranty for users who were affected.

In line with our unwavering commitment, we encourage users to visit the nearest OnePlus service centre for device diagnosis, and we will provide free screen replacement for all devices affected by the situation. On select OnePlus 8 and 9 Series devices, we are also offering a voucher that will provide the user with a fair percentage of the device value to upgrade to a new OnePlus device. In light of the current situation, we are now offering lifetime screen warranty on all affected devices. Thank you for your understanding and support.”

A Telegram user noticed that there are notices at OnePlus Exclusive Service Centres that tell customers with the “green line” problem about possible upgrade deals. Users can trade in their impacted devices for newer OnePlus models if they buy them online from the OnePlus India website as part of this programme.

Those who choose to buy the OnePlus 10R, which is only sold in India, will be able to use a coupon worth ₹4,500 (PHP3,000) to get an extra discount.
