OnePlus Ace 2 Pro Teased With Wi-Fi 7, Launching This August 16

The OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be available in China on August 16. Earlier reports said that the phone is being made to be a cheaper version of the OnePlus 11. As the release date gets closer, a new online video shows that the OnePlus Ace 2 pro will work with the Wi-Fi 7 protocol.

This will give it a much faster Wi-Fi speed and more data. This will make it easy for the device to work at full network speed. Wi-Fi 7 hasn’t been released yet, but according to the teaser, the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro will be a smartphone that will work with it in the future.

Wi-Fi 7 is the 7th version of Wi-Fi. It is said to be four times faster than its predecessor, Wi-Fi 6E, with less latency, more capacity, and better stability.

New applications like VR/AR, online gaming, remote office, and cloud computing will benefit from the reduced latency and better reliability. Reports from the past say that Wi-Fi 7 could come out in late 2024.

Earlier reports said that the Ace 2 Pro might have a 6.74-inch 1.5K OLED screen with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged with a 150W cable. The device is said to have a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip, 24GB of LPDDR5x RAM, and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. It is said that the device has a 50MP main camera, a 32MP telephoto camera, and a 48MP ultra-wide camera for a top-notch shooting experience.
