OnePlus 6 now has Portrait mode for its front camera due to an update

The OnePlus 6 just recently got an OxygenOS 5.1.6 OTA update which brought some new features to the smartphone. Aside from fixing some bugs and tweaking some minor issues, the update also improved the OnePlus 6’s camera.

The device now includes a Portrait mode for its front camera. Furthermore, the user is now able to preview the Light Bokeh effect on OnePlus 6‘s rear camera.

Other features that were added to the device include the scheduled Do Not Disturb (DND) mode. The user may now adjust when they want the mode to activate as well as control which notifications and calls can come through during the mode.

Battery percentage can also be seen in the status bar starting from now along with an improved ringtone volume, sound quality, and optimized call quality. The update also made sure to improve system stability and optimize power consumption in order to maximize the phone’s battery capabilities.

In terms of connectivity, the update added Dual-4G network option in SIM & network settings as well as Smart Answer for Bluetooth. You may now automatically answer incoming calls when you’re connected to Bluetooth devices.
