The OnePlus 10 Pro is now available in China. It has flagship specifications, such as a Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 processor. However, YouTuber Zack Nelson, the creator of the popular JerryRigEverything channel, put the OnePlus 10 Pro through his usual durability test.

It turns out that the phone isn’t as durable as the other phones he tested. After bending it in half, the OnePlus 10 Pro is still alive, with a crack on the back and a slightly burnt appearance on the front. It was bent, but the display was still turned on and the touch is still functioning. However, after the second bend test from the opposite direction, the OnePlus 10 pro’s display is completely broken with the flashlight still turned on.
If you want to see the outcome, watch the video below, starting at 6:57, where the bend test begins.

The phone snaps between the smartphone’s battery bank and its main CPU. This indicates that the structure above the battery is weaker. Though it is a bend test and YouTuber Zack Nelson applied force while bending, this does not necessarily imply that it will bend and break easily.
OnePlus did not immediately respond or comment on the video, and as we know, other companies have had similar experiences with these types of bending tests, such as Apple’s famous iPhone 6 and 6 Plus bent test. We’re looking forward to seeing how OnePlus plans to make the OnePlus 10 Pro more durable.
