
HMD Global is strengthening its mobile division as a new TWS gets introduced, alongside the first Nokia portable wireless speaker. Both to become available in November, Nokia is starting to be aggressive on the market as it had promised. Although the launch event focused on the Nokia 8.3 5G, you may want to check out the company’s latest smart accessories.
Starting with the Nokia Power Earbuds Lite, it’s the smaller version of the 150-hour Power Earbuds from last year. It may be Lite in features, but the battery still lasts up to 35 hours. Each bud can last up to 5 hours on a single charge, with the case adding six more chargers. However, charging the case requires a micro USB cable. As for the other features, there’s 6mm graphene drivers, Bluetooth 5.0, IPX7 waterproof rating that lets it be submerged in 1m of water up to 30 minutes, and touch controls.
Nokia Power Earbuds Lite is available in Charcoal, Fjord, and Snow colors, with a price tag less than the €79(~Php4,600) of the Power Earbuds.
For Nokia Portable Wireless Speaker, it comes in a donut-shaped design with fabric material on top and plastic on the bottom. Available in Black color only, the speaker has a built-in strap for easy carry and hook. The buttons, including volume rocker, power, and play/pause, get embedded in the plastic frame. The same goes for the charging port that comes with a flap cover. Nokia’s first portable wireless speaker is capable of linking two of it for a stereo experience from the 43mm driver, powered by Bluetooth 5. The 800mAh battery provides up to 4 hours of playback, with support for calls.
