Nokia 8.2 To Come With 5G and A New Name for P25K Price

Last year, Nokia 8.1 was launched around the first week of December. It features Nokia’s staple Carl Zeiss lens and Snapdragon 710 chipset for $400USD(~P20K). Today, rumors are circulating that there will be only one Nokia 8.2 model, a 5G-ready variant, and a new name for Nokia’s upcoming value-flagship phone. The price is also rumored to be around $500USD(~P25K). For a 5G phone, it could be one of the most affordable out there.

Original rumors state that Nokia 8.2 might come in two models — 4G and 5G. But according to Nokiapoweruser, there’s only one model and that’s the latter with better connectivity. It’s also expected to arrive next year at Mobile World Congress 2020, instead of the early December release. Furthermore, the moniker is said to be dropped in favor of a new one, perhaps, something that will make it an appealing 5G device.

As for the rest of the spec sheet, the heart of the Nokia 8.2 is the Snapdragon 735 (probably better than the SD 730 but not as good as the SD 730G). While the screen is rid of the notch, there’s a 32MP pop-up selfie camera for it to be possible. As for the main cameras, it’s going to use a 64MP sensor.
