
Users have been complaining tons of things that they expected to come with the AirPods but were unfortunately left out. One of these complaints were: it requires the use of a double tap gesture to invoke Siri. Now, according to the report by Bloomberg, they will add “Hey Siri” voice command in the next generation AirPods.
The next model will reportedly use a new version of this chipset, which will finally be able to detect the users’ voice to command Siri without the need of tapping. Siri can be commanded just like how the iPhone and the HomePod can be as well.

In addition, it’ll likely be water-resistant too. This will allow users to use the device in the rain or during workouts. Apple is expected to release the next model early next year.
