We’re back with another gaming review! This time, we’re testing out realme’s latest release, the realme C75.
Its main selling point? Durability. But can realme C75 handle our usual lineup of games? Let’s find out!
By default, the game is set to a high frame rate with high graphics quality. We pushed it further to ultra graphics quality to see how well it runs.
The performance was decent, with no stutters and only occasional FPS drops. It maintained a consistent frame rate with minor dips, making it a solid choice for Mobile Legends. On ultra settings with a high frame rate enabled, we recorded around 52 to 60 FPS.
Loading times were noticeably long, and we experienced some stuttering during the opening sequence. By default, it runs on performance mode with 30 FPS, but we customized the settings to 90 FPS, high graphics quality, and medium resolution.
In actual gameplay (Howling Abyss), FPS was inconsistent, with noticeable drops but no severe stutters or freeze frames. While we still enjoyed the experience, the device did feel warmer. With these settings, Wild Rift ran at around 46 to 56 FPS.
The default settings were low graphics with a medium frame rate, but we bumped them up to medium graphics with a high frame rate.
Just like Wild Rift, loading times were a bit slow. While the game was playable, it struggled with stutters and FPS drops, making gunfights challenging. FPS frequently dipped below 30, which is not ideal for an FPS game. On these settings, COD Mobile averaged 23 to 30 FPS.
For this test, we set the graphics to low with 60 FPS.
However, even at the lowest settings, Wuthering Waves was nearly unplayable. The game was filled with stutters and FPS drops, making combat and dodging very difficult. With these settings, FPS ranged from 4 to 12, making it unsuitable for a smooth experience.
Similar to Wuthering Waves, we tested ZZZ on low settings with 60 FPS. Unfortunately, performance was poor—full of stutters, FPS drops, and rendering delays.
Both exploration and combat suffered from performance issues, making gameplay frustrating. At best, this device is only suitable for daily tasks rather than actual combat.
Surprisingly, Genshin Impact performed better than expected. Exploration was decent, while combat ran smoothly with no major stutters or freeze frames.
Even in Abyss battles, performance remained stable. On low settings with 60 FPS, we recorded 30 to 45 FPS in combat and 17 to 22 FPS in exploration. While not perfect, it’s playable.
The realme C75 delivered acceptable gaming performance despite being marketed for its durability rather than gaming. It handles Mobile Legends and Wild Rift well but struggles with graphically demanding games.
If you’re looking for an affordable, durable smartphone that can handle casual gaming priced at PHP 8,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage, and PHP 10,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage realme C75 is a solid choice.
However, for high-end titles, you may want to consider a more powerful device.
