At a family wellness fair organized by Grab in Pasig, more than 1,000 driver-partners of the ride-hailing app and their families took advantage of various health services and government offerings.
The fair included health services like medical check-ups, distribution of free medicines, and eye examinations.
Grab collaborated with partners from the Social Security System (SSS) and Pag-IBIG fund, encouraging attendees to register as members of these agencies.
CJ Lacsican, Head of Central Operations for Grab, emphasized the importance of supporting their driver-partners and their families.
The fair focused on aspects like proper nutrition, stress management, preventive care, and social protection to help prioritize the well-being of the drivers, often overlooked due to the demanding nature of their profession.
Alexander Hilario Aguilar, Pag-IBIG Fund Deputy Chief Executive Officer for Member Services, expressed the agency’s commitment to ensuring inclusive access to benefits and programs for Grab driver-partners.
Thousands of Grab PH driver-partners have already registered as Pag-IBIG members, securing savings and access to home loan programs. The partnership aims to increase registrations in the coming months.

Additionally, the fair offered workshops and talks addressing critical health topics such as wellness, healthy diet, prevention of non-communicable diseases, cervical cancer awareness, and safety training provided by the Red Cross.
