Metal Slug: Awakening, developed by TiMi Studio and licensed by SNK, brings the run ‘n gun game Metal Slug to mobile platforms. It was initially unveiled at Tencent’s game conference in 2021. The game made its debut in Mainland China this April. Retaining the essence of the classic, it offers side-scrolling gameplay, a variety of maps and bosses, iconic heroes such as Marco, Tarma, Fio, and Eri, and the inclusion of super vehicles SV-001 and Camel, as well as weapon systems.
Metal Slug: Awakening has undergone enhancements, including upgraded 3D graphics, combat mode, and the introduction of new modes named ‘Hot Pursuit’ and ‘The Maze’. Additionally, players can interact with fellow gamers through the social system and participate in ‘Joint Operation’.
