
The LG G7 ThinQ has been launched recently in the Philippines. The smartphone boasts of its audio which features a 32-bit Hi-Fi Quad DAC and a Boombox Speaker. Going to its opponent, the Huawei P20 Pro is known for its DSLR-like cameras and beast performance.

The LG G7 ThinQ arrived in a 6.1″ IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1440 x 3120 and an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, while the Huawei P20 Pro with 6.1 inches, 1080 x 2244 pixels, 18.5:9 ratio. The LG handset measures 153.2 x 71.9 x 7.9 mm, 162 g, on the other hand, the Huawei handset measures 155 x 73.9 x 7.8 mm, 180 g. Both smartphones has the notch design but they have a feature to hide it.
For the LG handset, it allows users to customize the notch bar, wether to make the bar black, gradient, or even rainbow-themed. The Huawei handset only has one hide-notch option though.
Under the hood, the LG G7 ThinQ receives power from Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 along with an Adreno 630, paired with 6GB of RAM + 128 GB internal storage or 4GB of RAM + 64 GB internal storage. Meanwhile, the Huawei P20 Pro is powered by its own Hisilicon Kirin 970 with Mali-G72 MP12, coupled with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of native storage.
Going to its optics, the G7 ThinQ sports a dual camera setup of 16 MP (f/1.6, OIS, laser&PDAF) + 16 MP (f/1.9), with laser & phase detection autofocus, and LED flash. The Huawei P20 Pro, on the other hand, features a triple 40 MP (f/1.8, 1/1.7″, OIS) + 20 MP (f/1.6) + 8 MP (f/2.4), Leica optics, with 3x optical zoom, phase detection and laser autofocus, and dual-LED dual-tone flash.
Both the LG and Huawei handsets runs on Android 8.1 Oreo. With the LG G7 ThinQ having a 3000 mAh battery pack, and a 3400 mAh battery for the Huawei P20 Pro.
