
After many rumors and leaks, the Lenovo Legion Y90 has been officially announced during MWC 2022. It keeps the main positive points of its predecessors and putting advances in the internal hardware in several points, which should provide a better user experience.
As expected for a device of this category, the Legion Y90 comes equipped with the latest in the mobile industry offering overkill performance over all gamers and applications available.
Showing on the front is a huge 6.9-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution (2460 x 1080 pixels) and 144 Hz refresh rate, the Legion Y90 shares some features of the previously released models by the brand including support for HDR10+ mode and 1,300 nits of peak brightness.
On the back of the Legion Y90 are the two cameras with the main sensor that has a resolution of 64 MP and f/1.9 aperture, followed by a 13MP ultrawide lens with 123º field of view, a set that allows you to record videos with maximum quality of 8K at 30fps. The front camera has a 16MP and is located in a pop-up module. The device has an RGB LED in the Legion line logo that can be customized via the app.
The internal hardware has the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 platform, Adreno 730 GPU and up to 18GB of RAM with 512GB of internal storage in UFS 3.1 format, supports 5G connectivity and offering exceptional performance. The 18GB RAM version has an additional 128GB of SSD storage.
To meet the energy demand, the manufacturer chose to insert a battery with 5,600 mAh capacity and support for 68W fast charging via cable with USB Type-C connector, but without the possibility of wireless charging or reverse charging.
The Lenovo Legion Y90 will be available in blue and in three variants, depending on the amount of storage and RAM.
