Itel has recently launched the entry-level A58 series consisting of the Itel A58 and A58 Pro in Nigeria and Kenya.
Both smartphones sport a 6.6-inch HD+ (720 x 1600) display with a waterdrop notch and a 3D curved plastic body. They are powered by the UniSoC SC7731E quad-core processor. The vanilla A58 comes with 1GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage while the Pro variant has 2GB RAM and 32GB internal storage.
The itel A58 and A58 Pro are also equipped with an i-boost feature that promises a smoother mobile experience, according to the brand. They pack a 4,000mAh battery.
For cameras, both smartphones feature dual rear cameras with a 5MP main sensor and a secondary QVGA sensor + LED flash. Both also use a 5MP selfie camera. The rear panel also houses the fingerprint scanner.
Pricing and Availability
The itel A58 and A58 Pro come in Black, Green, and Purple colorways. The vanilla A58 is said to be priced at NGN 35,000 (~PHP 4,303), and it will be available for purchase in Nigeria next month while it is now available in Kenya. Pricing and availability for the A58 Pro are yet to be announced.
