One exciting change on the horizon is the integration of Rich Communication Services (RCS) in the Messages app, enabling seamless communication between iPhone and Android users. This means sharing high-quality photos and videos, read receipts, typing indicators, and even joining group chats spanning both platforms.

Beyond messaging, Apple is venturing into generative AI technology to enhance Siri and the Messages app’s ability to handle queries and auto-complete sentences.

This might also extend to other apps like Apple Music, Pages, Keynote, and Xcode, creating a more intuitive user experience.

Notably, Apple’s plan to integrate large language models into Siri promises to streamline complex tasks and deepen integration with the Shortcuts app. Expected to roll out in 2024, this feature is likely to be a game-changer for iPhone users seeking more automation and efficiency.
