iOS 16.1 Beta 2, Available Now to Developers

Since releasing iOS 16, this year’s most significant operating system update, a little more than a week ago, Apple has been working to develop improvements. Developers may now download iOS 16.1 Beta 2, the most recent version.

According to rumors, the update features improved Matter support, the ability to remove the Apple Wallet app, and improved monitoring of live events from the lock screen, such as an NFL score or the progress of your DoorDash order.

Along with the introduction of iCloud Shared Photo Libraries, which allow up to six people to personalize how they share photos, clean energy charging, which can change charging times, is another new feature.

The battery percentage icon is now accessible on all iPhones, including the iPhone XR, iPhone 11, iPhone 12 Mini, and iPhone 13 Mini, which were left out of the battery icon’s return to the Home Screen.

A request for comment from Apple did not immediately receive a response.
