
A new MateBook has been announced by Huawei in China. This will be the Huawei MateBook 16 and is powered by an AMD Ryzen processor.
When it comes to its screen, the MateBook 16 sports a 16-inch IPS display with TouchScreen features. Under the hood, just as what was said earlier, this laptop will be featuring either an AMD Ryzen 5 5800H or AMD Ryzen 5 5600H processors. Both processors will be using an AMD Radeon GPU which is paired with 16 GB DDR4 RAM and a 512 GB NVMe PCIe SSD internal storage.
As for connectivity and ports, the MateBook 16 will be coming with 2 USB-C ports, 2 USB 3.2 Gen1 ports, 1 HDMI port, a 3.5mm audio jack that can be used for headphones and microphones. It will also have Wi-Fi 6 support and Bluetooth 5.1 as well. This laptop will be using a Windows 10 Home OS in the box. It will also be equipped with an 84Wh lithium-polymer battery and 135W fast charger.
The Huawei MateBook 16 will be available in Haoyue Silver and Deep Space Gray colors. There will be two versions for the MateBook which differ in prices which are 6,299 Yuan (₱47,135 est.) and 6,799 Yuan (₱50,880 est.). As of the moment, Huawei has not yet revealed any international release for its Huawei MateBook 16.
