Recently, Huawei officially released the Huawei P50 series that supports 66W fast charging. However, none of these smartphones come with a standard fast charging charger. The new Huawei 66W GaN (Gallium Nitride) super fast multi-port charger that Huawei officially released will fit the P50 series.
According to reports, the Huawei 66W GaN charger comes with two USB-A interfaces and one USB Type-C interface. To avoid simultaneous use, the USB Type-C port has links to the USB Type-A port. In terms of parameters, the orange USB-A1 port supports Huawei’s proprietary super fast charge protocol. It has a maximum output power of 66W and supports 5V 3A, 10V 4A, 11V 6A multiple gears. The orange Type-C port supports a maximum output of 20V 3.25A and a power of 65W. It is compatible with multiple charging protocols such as PD3.0, PPS, SCP, and FCP. With this port, users can also charge laptops, tablets, and other devices.
The charger provides 8-fold protection, including short-circuit protection, electromagnetic field protection, over-current protection, lightning protection, over-temperature protection, and under-voltage protection.
This charger comes with a retail price of 399 yuan (around P3,100). However, there will be a 20 yuan (P150) discount, the price will be 379 yuan (around P2,950).
