
If you find your Innova, Hiace Grandia, or Fortuner running on a flat tire, then there’s big a chance that first time Toyota drivers may find it difficult to locate the spare tire and tools.
Here’s a quick guide on where to find the spare tire, jack, wrench, and reflector signal before changing the flat tire. This is a guide that is applicable for the model 2016 Toyota Innova, Hiace Grandia Van, and 2017 Fortuner and up to the latest.
Note: 2020 and 2021 Innova, Fortuner, and Hiace vans have possible the same spare tire and tools location.

The first thing is to find the set of lug wrench and hydraulic jack before finding the spare tire. Locating the jack and wrench is easy and different for each Toyota car.
Innova and Fortuner – Jack and wrench can be found on the left side behind the 3rd row, the same for the Fortuner.
Hiace Grandia Van – The locations of jack and wrench are different. Jack is located on the step board of the sliding door. Its wrench and reflector signal are located below the 1st row.
You can find the spare tire for all three cars at the same location which is below their rear bumper just beside their exhaust. You will need to unlock it with a pry bar (lug wrench combined).
