Instagram has launched a new feature that allows users to add music to their profiles.
The new music feature, which was introduced in collaboration with singer Sabrina Carpenter, allows users to choose a song and display a 30-second clip directly under their bio. However, users are not limited to songs from the collaboration—they can select from a wide range of music available on the platform.
How to Add Music to your Instagram Profile
- Open your Instagram app and go to your profile. Tap on ‘Edit profile’
- Scroll down to select ‘Add music to your profile.’
- Click on ‘Pick a song for your profile,’
- You can also browse for more options or use the search bar to find a specific song.
- Once you select a song, choose the 30-second part you want to feature on your profile.
Once you pick a song, it will appear below your bio and links on your profile, similar to how it works on Facebook. The song will stay there until you decide to change it or remove it.
