This includes a Recap memory that highlights key photos and events, enhanced with creative graphics and cinematic effects.
For some users in the U.S., an additional feature is available, the Gemini-powered personalized captions summarizing two significant moments from the year. These captions add a personal touch to your memories, making them more meaningful.
You’ll also get insights about your photo habits in 2024. These include details like your longest photo streak, the people you photographed most, your top colors, and even your overall “vibe” for the year.
The 2024 Recap memories and insights can be shared directly from Google Photos to messaging or social media platforms, making it easy to reflect on and share the highlights of your year with others.
The 2024 Recap feature is rolling out now, and you’ll receive a notification in the Google Photos app when your Recap is ready. The memories will remain accessible in the app’s carousel through December and move to the photo grid in January.
