Gionee Intros Marathon M5 Plus, Features 6-inch FHD Display, 5,020mAh Battery

After launching the 5.5-incher Marathon M5, Gionee is looking to give more and with more firepower in fact, as the introduce the monstrous 6-incher Gionee Marathon M5 Plus. The 6-incher Marathon M5 Plus packs a whopping 5020mAh battery capacity and much more.

Memory-wise, it holds a pretty decent 3GB of RAM, 64GB of internal storage, with microSD card support up to 128GB. In the shooting department, a standard pair of 13MP rear shooter and 5MP selfie shooter are in charge, with the Marathon M5 Plus running with Android 5.1 Lollipop and a new Amigo 3.1 alteration. For features, its very modern, with its USB Type-C port and fingerprint scanner.

The fingerprint scanner feature was a sudden addition to the Marathon M5 Plus, said Gionee CEO Lu, which was caused by their users responding to it. The Marathon M5 Plus is priced at $390 or roughly Php18K in converted PH price and is expected to hit retail in China on December 25th.
