Samsung has worked with another German car company to make a limited-edition version of its latest top-of-the-line smartphone. A year ago next week, Samsung came out with a Galaxy S22 Ultra that looked like a Mercedes EQ, and it also came with a rigid box and other accessories that matched the theme. The Mercedes EQ tie-in came out simultaneously as a similar Mark & Lona edition.

This year, Samsung and BMW worked together to make the Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M Edition. In marketing, Samsung used images to show that they based the limited-edition model on the BMW M3 E30, which BMW sold from 1986 to 1992. Samsung includes:
- A themed case.
- A branded air compressor.
- A photo book.
- A poster.
- A wireless charger with the BMW M Edition.
Samsung also changed One UI 5.1 for the BMW M Edition.
The Galaxy S23 Ultra BMW M will only be sold in South Korea. It will cost ₩1,727,000 (approx. ₱75,000) and have 12 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage space. In South Korea, a Galaxy S23 Ultra that is the exact costs ₩1,600,400 (about ₱70,000) before any pre-order discounts. The BMW M Edition, which can be ordered through SK Telecom, will only be made in 1,000 units by Samsung.
