Chuwi is an unfamiliar brand for most but they’ve built their presence by making dual-OS Android and Windows tablets. The Chuwi Hi10 Windows 10 is the latest tablet that features serious power, thanks to the Intel chip and large memory combined. Above all, Hi10 is just priced for $179 or roughly P8,200 pesos if converted.
By the name itself, there’s a 10-inch Full HD (1920 x 1200) IPS LCD up front, which results to 224 ppi and nowhere near to the Retina threshold at 324ppi. At least, it’s decent enough considering it’s a tablet.
Along the sides are full-sized USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 slots, microUSB, and microSD card slot.
With the Intel Atom Z8300 quad-core CPU, the Chuwi Hi10 can handle multitasking PC programs while playing high-res videos up to 4K at the same time. The ample 4GB RAM is paired with a 64GB internal storage.
The measly 2MP dual camera setup can shoot 720p or HD video, which is not bad for having Skype video calls. The rated battery life of the tablet is 6 hours by continuous video playback and handled by the 6500mAh cell inside.
On top of these specs, you can easily pair and connect a keyboard and case hybrid using Bluetooth 4.0 or thru the dock.
If you’re really looking for an affordable yet capable Windows 10 tablet, the Chuwi Hi10 at $179/P8,200 is a deal that’s hard to miss.
