Apple is almost ready to release the highly anticipated iPhone 15 series. But the company’s 2023 iPhone range may have shown up on the BIS (Bureau of Indian Standards) before it was officially announced, indicating that it was about to come out.
Based on a recent BIS entry, a new Apple device with the model number A3094 was found on the certification platform. Taking into account the timing, it seems likely that the model in question is part of the new iPhone 15 series. Apple is likely to release its top-of-the-line smartphones next month.

Even so, there have been many reports and leaks about the new iPhones. The Pro models are likely to come out with a Titanium body and solid-state haptic buttons. The bezels will also be thinner. On the other hand, the base iPhone 15 and iPhone 15 Plus will have the same 48-megapixel camera and Dynamic Island display as the iPhone 14 Pro.
Apple is following EU rules by switching the iPhone 15 line to a USB Type-C port, which is another big change. But it is thought that the brand’s charging ports have a new 3LD3 chip that could slow down charging and data sharing. This means that only wires that have been approved will be able to use the new port design.
The iPhone 15 release date appears set. Bloomberg reporter Mark Gurman thinks the Apple event will occur on September 12 or 13 before a September 22 release date in his Power On newsletter.
Previous 9to5Mac reports indicated insiders predicting the iPhone 15 arrival on September 13.
Gurman later suggested September 12 was more likely, but things were still in flux, so it may change. Whether the iPhone 15 announcement occurs on September 12 or 13, preorders could start on September 15. The actual sales match the September 22 rumor.
