Amazon CEO Calls for Return to Office for Remote Employees

It seems that the CEO of Amazon doesn’t like the idea of working from home. The executive thinks that people who work from home should come back to the office because it’s “probably not going to work out”.

A story from Insider says that Amazon CEO Andy Jassy told the company’s remote workers. This month, the statement was made during a meeting call.

For those who don’t know, the e-commerce giant has told its workers that starting in May, they have to come back to the office three days a week. But a lot of people didn’t agree with this rule, and thousands of workers signed a protest against it.

The report also says that Jassy’s choice was firm and that employees who don’t agree can leave if they want to. Jassy said, “It’s not right for all of our teammates to be in three days a week and for people to refuse to do so”. Reports say that Amazon is making workers who don’t want to go back to work sign a “voluntary resignation”
