YouTube has added a new feature to its Android mobile version. Users can now trim and upload videos all in the same app!
No more trouble in using a third-party app for editing or trimming, for the new feature allows users to control exactly where a video will begin and end by dragging on still frames of a video using ‘handles’.
It also allows the users to view the handiwork with an aligned preview before uploading it, so the users can be assured that changes by trimming were made and the video will appear the way they want it.
Google is reportedly working on additional features for YouTube that may attract more users. Such included is the Instagram styled filters and licensed music to replace the audio. But as of now, the update is all about the trimming feature.
It is not yet confirmed if the said feature update has been added to iOS version of YouTube as well.
