Xiaomi has recently unveiled a new addition to the Yi camera lineup and it’s looking rather snazzy by the looks of things. The Yi 4K seems to fit the bill on everyday adventure-hungry Pinoys. The new Xiaomi Yi 4K action camera, like its name suggests, is capable of shooting 4K UHD videos, which is a looking rather awesome as its looks to compete with GoPro’s heavily-specced action cams of 2016.

The Xiaomi Yi 4K has a pretty decent hardware under its belt. First off, it has a 12MP Sony IMX377 sensor, which is capable of shooting stills on native resolutions with ease. Adding up to the mix is its seven-layer lens with a whopping 155-degree field of view and a f/2.8 aperture for its lens. This should give off a maximum video shooting experience. The Yi 4K action cam can shot 4K at 30fps, however, it has options of shooting at 30fps on 2.5K, 60 fps on 1440p and a few slow-mo shots ranging in from 1080p with 120fps and 960 at 120fps.
The Xiaomi Yi 4K action camera supports WiFi up to 5.0GHz and has Bluetooth 4.0 feature, with a microSD card slot to finalize the deal. Right now, the device is available for $249 or around Php 11K in Gearbox.
