Back in September last year, Xiaomi released the Mi A1 which is the first to run on Android One platform. Under this platform, your smartphone is ensured to receive OS updates on-time.
Although Xiaomi still hasn’t officially announced when this update will arrive, it is now being tested in the closed Beta testing of the said OS along with June’s security patch which means it will arrive in a couple of weeks.
As for the Xiaomi Mi A1 specifications, it comes with 5.5-inch LTPS IPS LCD display protected by Corning Gorilla 3. Mi A1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 that runs Android 7.1.2 Nougat and packed with 3080 mAh battery capacity. It is equipped with dual 12MP + 12MP rear camera with 5MP front-facing camera.
