
A few days ago, Xiaomi released official photos of the most advanced smartphone among the Mi 8 lineup. And finally Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition is arriving at the Mi Store.
The Xiaomi Mi 8 Explorer Edition features 6.21-inch Super AMOLED panel with a notch at the top housing a 20-megapixel front-facing camera, speaker and facial recognition technology. Aside from that, it also has an in-display fingerprint scanner which makes the M8 Explorer Edition the first Xiaomi phone to have such a feature. It has a screen resolution of 1080 x 2248 pixels protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.
Xiaomi boasts its translucent back panel revealing the internals showing Snapdragon 845 chipset and the mAh 3, 000 mAh battery supported with Fast battery charging (Quick Charge 4.0+). It also runs Android Oreo with MIUI 9.5 out of the box which will switch to MIUI 10. It carries 8GB of RAM along with 128GB internal storage and a dual 12-megapixel rear camera.
