Xiaomi is Bringing Redmi K60 Ultra Very Soon!

On August 14, Xiaomi will hold a big event where we’ll see the new folded Mix Fold 3, the huge 2-in-1 Android tablet Pad 6 Max 14, and a Pro version of the wearable Band 8. But wait, there’s more.

The Redmi brand will also be there, and the high-end Redmi K60 Ultra is set to make an official showing on stage. The Xiaomi subsidiary’s Weibo page has not only confirmed reports about the Dimensity 9200+ chipset, but it has also shown how the new device will look.

The screen on the Redmi K60 Ultra will have a frame rate of 144 Hz and a resolution of 1.5K. This is how Chinese companies market their 1220p displays. The Redmi K60 and Redmi K60 Pro both have 1440p screens, so the Ultra is actually a small step down.

There will also be a version of the new device with 24 GB RAM and 1 TB storage. This will make it the first non-gaming smartphone with that much memory, beating out the OnePlus Ace 2 Pro, which is due out later this month.

There will be three cameras on the back, but only two of them are likely to be real cameras. The third seems to be a simple 2 MP picture lens. The main camera will be 50 MP, and the second one will be an ultra-wide-angle shooter.

As for the price there are no official details yet, but stay tuned for more updates!
