WATCH: LG G6 goes under (unofficial) scratch test

WATCH: LG G6 scratch test

What do you do when you have an LG G6? Grab a knife and stab that shiny new smartphone. In an amateur LG G6 scratch test, a group of friends tested the latest Corning Gorilla Glass 5 of the device.

The “test subject” looks to be the silver variant of the G6.

A guy grabs a knife then starts scratching and stabbing(not that kind of stabbing) the G6, and to no avail, the G6 survived without any mark of damage.

It’s pretty interesting how strong the latest version of Gorilla Glass is, but what about the display panel? Would love to see that, though.

LG G6 is bound for release in April, starting in Europe, then gradually spreading across the world.

When LG decided to ditch the modular G5, they went with the basics by following the metal unibody design.

What made the LG G6 special from the rest, though, is the FullVision 18:9 aspect ratio display with rounded screen corners. Apparently, Samsung reportedly followed this trend with the upcoming Galaxy S8.
