A week ago, Vivo announced that it will showcase the Vivo in-display fingerprint scanning technology with its global partner Synaptics. And during the CES 2018, they have finally unveiled the device. Today, the Vivo X20 UD with an in-display fingerprint scanner was spotted on TENNA.
The Vivo X20 Plus UD is similar to the standard Vivo X20 Plus, with the major exception being the fingerprint sensor. It has a 6.43-inch Full HD+ (2160×1080) AMOLED display. According to Synaptics, the sensor illuminates and reads the crests of the fingerprint and it would not be possible with an LCD.
It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset coupled with 4 GB RAM and 128 internal storage. The main dual camera is 12 MP with f/1.8 aperture + 5 MP and a 12 MP selfie snapper. Also, it comes with 3800 mAh battery.
