vivo has introduced two new smartphones under the S30 series in China, the vivo S30 and S30 Pro mini.
The vanilla vivo S30 sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with 2800×1260 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 3840Hz high frequency PWM dimming, and up to 5000 nits peak brightness.
Powering it is the 4nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 octa-core processor with Adreno 722 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB internal storage, and a 6,500mAh battery capacity with 90W fast charging.
Camera-wise, the device is equipped with a 50MP Sony LYT700V main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter with 106-degree FoV, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Upfront is a 50MP selfie camera.
Connectivity features include 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), and Bluetooth 5.4.
Other specs include an in-display optical fingerprint sensor, Stereo Speakers with Hi-Res audio, IP64 dust and water resistance, and Android 15 with OriginOS 5 skin on top.
The device measures 160.21×74.39×7.49mm in dimensions and weighs 192 grams. It is available in Peach Pink, Mint Green, Lemon Yellow, and Cocoa Black colorways.
On the other hand, the vivo S30 Pro mini flaunts a much smaller 6.31-inch AMOLED panel with 2640 x 1216 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 4320Hz high frequency PWM dimming, and up to 5000 nits peak brightness.
It is powered by the 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 9300+ octa-core chipset with Immortalis-G720 GPU, up to 16GB LPDDR5X RAM, up to 512GB UFS 3.1 storage, and a 6,500mAh battery capacity with 90W fast charging support.
For optics, the S30 Pro mini comes with the same cameras as the S30, including a 50MP Sony LYT700V main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide shooter with 106-degree FoV, and a 50MP Sony IMX882 periscope telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. Upfront is also a 50MP selfie camera.
It includes 5G, dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 7 802.11 be (2.4GHz + 5GHz), and Bluetooth 5.4 for connectivity options.
