According to Pokemon GO facebook page, the trainers are expected to receive bonuses when they finish a certain task for a day, and that includes catching a Pokemon or visiting a PokeStop. Expect bigger bonus if you manage to play for 7 days straight.
Daily QuestMoreover, catching a Pokemon every day will grant you 500 XP and 600 Stardust. Catching a Pokemon for 7 days straight will grant you 2000 XP and 2400 Stardust.
Visiting a PokeStop and spinning the Photo Disc every day will grant you 500 XP and some additional items. Doing these for 7 days straight will grant you 2000XP and a greater number of additional items. So expect your bag to be full by the end of the week. Daily bonuses reset every midnight at your own local time.
