
TECNO has revealed its concept smartphone ahead of MWC in Barcelona—the TECNO SPARK Slim.
According to TECNO, the SPARK Slim will be the world’s thinnest smartphone with a 5,200mAh battery. It is claimed to measure 5.75mm in thickness. The battery is measured at 4.04mm thick and supports up to 45W fast charging.
The concept device features a 6.78-inch 3D curved AMOLED panel with 1.5K resolution, 144Hz refresh rate, and 4,500nits peak brightness.
It sports rounded corners with a horizontal rear camera bar housing a dual 50MP sensor. Upfront is a 13Mp selfie camera.
Its build is designed with a recycled aluminium and a stainless steel unibody.
TECNO has yet to reveal the processor that powers the SPARK Slim phone, but is claimed to be a high-end octa-core CPU.
We may see a lot of slim smartphones being unveiled this year, with OPPO launching the world’s thinnest foldable in February. Samsung is also gearing up to launch the Galaxy Edge, while Apple is rumored to reveal its slimmest iPhone ever—the iPhone 17 Air.
TECNO has yet to reveal the pricing and availability details of the TECNO SPARK Slim. It is expected to be showcased during the MWC in Barcelona, so stay tuned for more updates.
