
Two smartphones from TECNO have been spotted online via Shopee, the TECNO Phantom V Flip2 and TECNO CAMON 30s. A ‘Coming Soon’ display is being showed at the page hinting at an imminent Philippine launch.
To recap, the TECNO Phantom V Flip2 has been launched this year as TECNO’s second-generation flip smartphone sporting a 6.9-inch FHD+ LTPO AMOLED inner panel with 120Hz refresh rate and a customizable 3.64-inch AMOLED outer display featuring interactive pets, mini-games, and a full keyboard.
It is built on a Double-Helical Star-Track Drop-Shaped Hinge which the brand claims support a stronger body for strengthened reliability. It has been tested against 400,000 room-temp folds, 150,000 high-temp folds, and 100,000 low-temp folds.
Powering the flip device is the 2.6GHz 6nm MediaTek Dimensity 8020 octa-core processor with Mali-G77 MP9 GPU, 8GB RAM, 256GB internal storage, and 4,700mAh battery with 70W ULTRA Charge.
For optics, it features a 50MP main camera, a 50MP ultra-wide shooter, and a 32MP front sensor. It can shoot from any angle between 30-degrees to 150-degrees. Cover screen selfie and DV shoot mode are also available.
Other specs include Dual Speakers with Dolby Atmos, TECNO AI, NFC, and Android 14 with HiOS 14 on top.
Its folded and unfolded dimensions are 87.8x 73.4 x 16.04mm and 170.75 x 73.4 x 7.64mm, respectively. It weighs 196 grams and is available in Moondust Grey and Travertine Green colorways.
The TECNO CAMON 30s, on the other hand, was launched last October 2024 featuring a 6.78-inch curved FHD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass.
Under the hood, it is powered by the 2.2 GHz 6nm MediaTek Helio G100 octa-core processor with Mali-G57 MP2 GPU, up to 8GB RAM, up to 256GB Internal storage, and 5,000mAh battery with 33W wired fast charging. Users can select between Low-Temp Charge, Smart Charge, or Hyper Charge depending on their specific charging needs.
At the back, it boasts a Cosmic Concentric Circles Design and is available in Celestial Black, Dawn Gold, and Nebula Violet colorways.
The circular camera bump at the back houses a 50MP main sensor with OIS, a 2MP depth lens and Dual Flash. Upfront is a 13MP selfie camera with Dual Flash.
Other specs include dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos, IP53 water resistant, 4.5G network, in-display fingerprint scanner, and Android 14 with HiOS 14 on top.
As per listing the TECNO Phantom V Flip2 is priced at PHP 50,000, while the TECNO CAMON 30s at PHP 29,999.
