
Valve is now taking orders for “certified refurbished” Steam Decks. The product pages went live early, so Valve was able to do this. All three capacities that Valve has to offer can be bought, and there are big savings off the list price:
If you look closely, you might notice that these prices are the same as the ones that dropped during the Steam Summer Sale. But you’ll be able to buy these even when they’re not on sale, and it’s possible they’ll go on sale at some point.
Valve says, though, that the devices may have small aesthetic flaws. Before going on sale, the devices still go through a full factory restart, a software update, and more than 100 tests.
Valve says that refurbished models have the same one-year warranty as new Steam Decks and come with a carrying case, quick start guide, and refurbished power source.
